Privacy Policy

Overview

PyRun Quant does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry, or cloud synchronization.

Local Code and Demo Data

Python code, Console output, settings, documents, and backtests using the built-in simulated Demo Market are processed locally on your device. Demo instruments are fictional and their data is generated solely for demonstration.

Files

Documents created or opened in PyRun Quant remain in the app’s local storage or in locations you choose through Apple’s Files interface. PyRun Quant only exports or shares content when you choose a system action such as Export or Share.

User-Initiated Network Access

PyRun Quant does not send your code or documents to Tokyo Iceman or to a remote execution service. Python includes standard-library features that can access networks; activity explicitly initiated by user-written code is controlled by that code and the operating system.

If you explicitly use Python package search or installation, the app contacts the public PyPI registry to look up or download the package you requested. The app does not attach an account, advertising identifier, or analytics payload to that request.

Children’s Privacy

Because PyRun Quant does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PyRun Quant’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
